With more than 25 years of experience in forensic accounting, tax, and financial investigations, Tamsyn L. Earsley is a seasoned forensic accountant who assists individuals, businesses, and attorneys in resolving complex financial disputes, investigations, and regulatory matters. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Washington and founded Pivotal Forensic Accounting & Audits in 2005.

Her work focuses on forensic accounting, litigation support, and tax compliance. Tamsyn analyzes and reconstructs financial records, traces transactions, and conducts fraud investigations and asset analysis in matters involving disputes, internal investigations, and regulatory review. She prepares clear, defensible reports and exhibits for legal proceedings, assists with subpoenas and third-party record collection, and provides expert witness testimony when required.

Tamsyn’s experience includes federal and state tax preparation and review for individuals and businesses, along with extensive work involving Washington State agencies such as the Department of Revenue (DOR), Employment Security Department (ESD), Labor & Industries (L&I), and Department of Transportation (DOT). She is also highly experienced in payroll review, QuickBooks setup and analysis, fraud and embezzlement investigations, and the development of internal controls to reduce risk and prevent financial mismanagement.

Known for her attention to detail, strong ethical standards, and practical approach, Tamsyn combines technical accounting expertise with investigative insight and a deep understanding of tax and regulatory systems. She is particularly skilled at identifying irregularities, interpreting complex financial data, and clearly communicating findings in high stakes matters.
